What would you do if you were reinventing your life?
Those of us who are journeying in the world of entrepreneurship are always reinventing our life, pivoting strategies and constantly improving. But sometimes we get stuck in the traffic and can’t see where to turn next.
At the same conference I discussed in my last post, Luis Carlos Flores (https://ninosdeahora.tv/) spoke about reinventing his life. He was very inspiring and thought provoking. He shared about starting something completely new and heading in a brand new direction. He went through his thought process to make this change.
- What’s the goal?
- Opportunity and Risks
- Build with the end in mind
- Collaborate and build your team
What’s the goal?
You may already be clear about the goal you have to “reinvent your life” and what you want to get out of it. Or you may just have the feeling that something needs to change. It can start with a small goal that shines a light on the bigger adventure.
For me, the goal of reinventing my life is to live an authentic life. To live a life of adventure and making memories with my family and friends. I want to look at my life and say “WOW! Did I really do that? That’s AMAZING!”
This year I had a goal of traveling at least six times. By the end of February I was half way there! So, I just kept going, and at the end of the year not only will I have passed my goal, I will have lapped it. TWELVE TRIPS TOTAL! I’ve gone to some amazing places and to some down home mundane places, but the point is I WENT! I completely raced by my goal because I was paying attention to it, watching the road in front of me and being aware of the possibilities one, two, or three miles ahead. I mapped out the trips I wanted to go on and even learned how to journal my trips using watercolor. I now have a wonderful colorful book of my adventures and what I’ve learned.

When you pay attention to your goals and give them attention and praise, they happen. They happen in the most wonderful amazing ways and opportunities arise out of nowhere that will blow your mind.
My mind blowing opportunity this year was Venice, Italy. At the time, there was no way I was going to be able to go down that road. But I kept focusing on how wonderful it would be to go there. I looked at images, talked about it with the person who invited me, checked my passport, and the universe took care of everything else. The blocks were removed and the road cleared before me. I hit the gas, took the turn, and never looked back. It was an amazing trip and it changed my life completely!
What is your goal? What resources are you putting towards it? How are you mapping it out? Vision Boards, Pinterest, online, offline, etc.?
Let me know how you are reinventing your life, what your goal is, and how you are paying attention to it in the comments below.
Have an amazing day!
Amelia
