As you move into a new phase of life, it’s important to take a moment to acknowledge and appreciate what came before. That which got you here, to this place of new beginnings, is important. It is not time wasted or lost. It is time that you needed to learn and experience all that you required to move into this new phase of life. It is the foundation for the BIG Dream you are building today.

Honoring Where You’ve Been

Take time to celebrate all that occurred to bring you to this space. All the good, all the bad. It made you who you are today.

And now it is time to celebrate your new beginnings! Through all that learning and experience, you have a unique perspective on where you want your life to go. You have a dream stirring within you that is starting to shine with excitement. Celebrate it!

Yeah, there are those who will call you crazy, silly, or even stupid for what you are embarking on. Let them. They don’t have your background or experience, and they cannot see the vision you hold within your heart.

Make your dream a reality by celebrating the ideas, committing them to paper and working through all the twists and turns that come with the journey. This idea, this dream gives you direction in a time when it feels like all else has been taken away or lost. The kids are gone, the career is winding down, or you’re just looking for something to inspire you. You have it all within you and it’s just itching to come forth.

Reigniting Your Childlike Excitement

Allow yourself to step back in time to when you were a kid. Remember the excitement you felt when you had an outlandish idea and you set upon making it happen, even if just in imaginary play. You set the stage for all the players and started the game.

Do that again now. Take that raw excitement and set your own stage. Imagin all the players coming in and playing your game with enthusiasm. Celebrate that vision. You can make it happen.

Owning Your Journey And Your Next Adventure

You have completed a journey to this point and are ready to move into your next great adventure, beyond what you have known up to this time. Celebrate that.

Life is a wild ride that takes many twists and turns. It teaches us so many things and we forget to celebrate them.  We tend to brush them under the rug and say, “It’s not that big of a deal” To which I say, BS!

All those steps, those little things are important and huge to your enrichment and experience. Without them, without having to navigate those trials and tribulations you would not be who you are today.

You have come far, my friend, and you deserve a little acknowledgement. You are a human living in an experience and learning all the new things along the way. So much knowledge gained. Celebrate it and utilize it for your next steps.

You’ve done the work. You’ve grown, evolved, and you’re ready for more. Your next chapter is calling, and it’s time to answer with courage and clarity.
