Going Down Memory Lane
I recently came across some old Facebook posts (thanks for the memories FB) and it struck me just how far I’ve come.
These memories were from a time when I was at one of my lowest points. I remember her and just how hard it was to wake up in the morning and keep moving forward.
Every day was the same ol’ slug…wake up, go to work, come home, watch tv, sleep. There wasn’t a lot left for family or friends.
Reflecting on Personal Growth and Finding Your Spark
Then I started becoming curious. Curious about how to shift my being. I started asking questions in Facebook-land.
I didn’t get much response, but I knew there had to be something better. I kept plodding along and looking for “the signs”.
Then one day an offer came across my email.
How Curiosity Led Me to Find My Spark
I was in a class to improve my Business Analysis career, and the woman who ran the company sent a message about this guy who taught online entrepreneurs how to launch their business.
For some reason this struck my curiosity, and I signed up for the thing.
This started a journey I could never have imagined, which has so far culminated in Dodona Coaching being born.
This journey has brought up so many things that were holding me back in my life, so many self-imposed stories. And in working through them, changing the story, I’ve been able to start living a life I could never have imagined.
The Journey of Finding Your Spark
I can never thank Laura Brandenburg and Jeff Walker enough for doing their work and presenting an offer to a drowning soul.
This is a great reminder that who you are and what you do in the world affects others in the most profound ways that you will never really know. It’s time to find your spark, your dream, your next goal and go for it! That is your work in life.
Knowing and going for your dreams is not always easy. It can be a rough road of confronting yourself along the way. It really helps to have some friends along the way. Those who are on the journey with you and can support and encourage you along the way.
If you’re wondering if your current space is all life has to offer and are feeling a bit lost, I invite you to join in the next Dream BIG Webinar.
There’s no cost to you but your time. It could be a bust, or it could be just the thing that helps you find your next direction in life. As someone told me once, “It’s always no unless you ask.” So, why not ask and find out?
