Storms Keep Coming

Sometimes the storms just keep coming. They don’t have to be big to make life hectic. The thing to remember is to BREATHE!

Coping with Life’s Challenges

Life can throw things at you in a big heap or in a drip-drip-drip fashion. Sometimes I think when it’s in a big heap it’s better because you can deal with it all at once. When storms come in a drip fashion, it can feel never ending.

They pull you one way and then another and then turn you around to yet another far out space.

Finding Calm in the Storm

Being able to stop for a moment, even just a half a second, can be the difference between getting lost in the storm and finding your way out.

There may be days in which you lose time because of all the shifts. Where you look up and hours have passed and nothing has gotten done. But by stopping for a moment to breathe and reorient yourself, you can focus on your goal, your BIG Dream, and reorient yourself to move forward.

Every step is a move forward. They could be the microest of micro-baby steps to the sudden leaps that seem to span continents. You continue to move forward and it is this movement that makes your dreams happen.

Building Resilience and Embracing Growth

Realizing that each storm that comes your way is there for you to clear away the old, make room for the new, and give you the strength to handle more in your life. More love, joy, and amazingness!

As you build the muscle to navigate these Shift-Storms™ you build the capacity for greater happiness and peace. Things that might have knocked you down yesterday, you have the strength and ability to handle with ease.

And one day you won’t even notice it. It will become as simple and habitual as walking, talking, or breathing.

It all starts with a breath. Stop in your tracks for a moment. Close your eyes and connect to the earth and environment around you.

Take a deep breath in, hold it for a moment, and release it slowly. With the next breath, remind yourself of your goal, your dream, your intention for the next moment.

Reconnect and align all the mental and emotional pieces as best you can. And as you release your third breath, open your eyes and take the next step.

You can do this as many times during the day as you need to ensure the storm does not grab hold of you and fling you off into another tangent.

Navigating life's storms can be challenging, but each step you take, no matter how small, brings you closer to your BIG Dreams. By embracing these moments of growth and building resilience, you empower yourself to handle more love, joy, and amazingness in your life.
